You should definitely visit this place because it has great sights, delicious meals, a lot of things to do, a lot of things to shop, many natural tourist attractions, many places, 7,641 islands, and a lot more than you can imagine! You will never ever forget times like these once you visit the Philippines! Your mind will be blown after this trip that you will be willing to go back.
Mountains
There are about 2,700 mountains in the Philippines. People love going to mountains to see the world and for experience, the tallest mountain in the Philippines is Mt. Apo, it took 3 days and 2 nights for some people to climb it. On mountains you can go hiking, taking selfies, camping, bird watching, and a lot more. You will enjoy seeing the lovely views on top of a mountain, some other mountains are:
- Mt. Pulag is located in Benguet.
- Mt. Timbak is also located in Benguet but in Batok.
- Mt. Ragang is located in Lanao Del Sur.
Volcanoes
There are about 300 volcanoes in the Philippines and 24 of these are active. The famous volcano in the Philippines is Mayon Volcano, it is famous for its perfect cone- shape but its perfect cone-shape gets destroyed because it is an active volcano. You can take selfies, see what lava looks like, and a lot more you can do when it does not erupt, some volcanoes are:
- Taal volcano is located in Batangas and is an active volcano.
- PInatubo active stratovolcano is located in Zambales.
Rivers
There are 22 long rivers in the Philippines. The longest river in the Philippines is The Pasig river, which is in Manila all the way to Pasig city. At a river you can enjoy fishing, swimming, wadding, kayaking, canoeing, tubing, paddleboarding, wildlife watching, camping by the river, taking pictures, whitewater rafting, or hiking along river trails. You can have a lot of fun even though you are just in one place, some rivers are:
- Cagayan river is located in Cagayan Valley.
- Pampanga river is located in central Luzon.
- Rio Grande de Mindanao is located in Cotobato, Mindanao.
- The Davao river is located in Davao.
Malls
You are possibly thinking that what else can you do more than go to natural tourist spots.
In the Philippines, you will never stop shopping, eating, watching in a theatre (if there is one), playing in an arcade, and a lot of stuff you can do in a mall! it is like you will be trapped there for the rest of your life just having fun. Some malls are:
- In SM you can find all of your needs and eat whatever you want!
- In Ayala malls, you can check-in in their hotel and shop a lot for how many days you plan to stay.
in these malls, you can feel like you will never get out of there!
WARNING!: Do not shop too much or you will waste your money for other fun things you will do in the Philippines!
Museums, parks, and zoos
There is more stuff than shopping and tourist spots. You can go visit parks, zoos, and museums, and when you are in those places you can experience scary-looking rides, swim in a deep-blue pool with a sea lion, even feed a hungry-looking giraffe, take a selfie with a parrot, observe bones of a dinosaur, take selfies of paintings for memories, taking a photo of a monkey-eating eagle, observe what do animals look like, swim in a tank full of creepy-looking sharks, look at big-amazing fish, observe a beautiful painting or experience your hair flying by static electricity! Some parks, zoos, and museums are:
- Rizal monument is located in Manila
- Calaluit Safari Park is located in Calauit Island just off the coast of Palawan.
- Star city is located in Pasay City.
- Baluarte Zoo is located in Ilocos Del sur.
- Ocean park is located in Manila.
- Manila Zoo is located in Manila.
- Albay Park and wildlife is located in Legazpi
- Butterfly Sanctuary in Camp John Hay is located in Baguio, Benguet.

People love going to beaches where you can build sand castles, swim in the ocean, go snorkeling, see a beautiful turtle swimming down below, listen to the gentle, rhythmic waves of the vast blue ocean, picking up a tiny delicate sea shell near the sea shore, and a lot more you can do in the sandy beach and the sparkling-blue ocean. Some beaches are:
- Lambug beach located in Cebu.
- Pink beach is located in Zamboanga.
- Puka beach is located on Boracay island.
- Hidden beach is located in El Nido town of Palawan island.
- Alona beach is on Bohol island.
- White beach is on Boracay island.
Restaurants
You definitely will starve during your trip thinking when will you ever eat. There are many delicious foods you can eat that are very healthy and are made with love and care Filipino food is the best because of its rich tapestry of flavors, vibrant colors, and diverse range of ingredients that create a unique culinary experience. It captures the essence of a culture and leaves you craving for more with its exceptional taste. Some foods that filipinos like are:
- Sinigang is a soup made with meat, shrimp, or fish and flavored with a sour ingredient such as tamarind or guava (some sinigangs don’t have shrimp).
- Adobo is a dish of chicken or pork stewed in vinegar, garlic, soy sauce, bay leaves, and peppercorns.
- Kare-kare is a stew of meat and vegetables, cooked in a thick, peanut-based sauce and colored with annatto.
- Leche flan is a custard dessert made with condensed milk and egg yolks and topped with caramel.
- Halo – Halo is a dessert made with mixed fruit, boiled sweetened white beans, milk, and shaved ice, typically topped with purple yam, creme caramel, and ice cream.
- Puto is a steamed cake made with rice flour.
- Sisig is a dish of chopped pork, onions, and chili peppers seasoned with calamansi and topped with an egg, usually served on a hotplate.
- Tinola is a meal cooked with chicken or fish, wedges of papaya and/or chayote, and leaves of the siling labuyo chili pepper in broth flavored with ginger, onions, and fish sauce.
- Lechon is a whole pig roasted on a spit.
