What enormous, bright purple shoes he wore!
Our unusual supply teacher was hard to ignore.
Mr. Jonathan wore a hat with tiny dinosaurs too,
colourful clothes and mismatched socks completed his unusual view.
He even wore a puppet upon his hand,
the funniest teacher in all the land.
Everyone stared as he came through the door,
wondering what funny outfit he’d wear even more.
How loudly Mr. Jonathan sang during the maths lesson!
His joyful voice was such a funny blessing.
How loudly Mr. Jonathan laughed as he told his funny stories!
His cheerful smile filled our classroom with glory.
He always greeted everyone with a big, happy smile,
Making every lesson exciting all the while.
We smiled, we laughed, and learned something new,
Every day with Mr. Jonathan quickly flew.
What a hilarious day we had at school today!
