Exploring the Wonders of Thailand

Thailand is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Southeast Asia because of its temples, delicious food, and rich culture. Its capital city is Bangkok. The country is usually hot and sometimes rainy, so it is best to bring a hat or an umbrella. The main language spoken is Thai, and their currency is the Thai Baht.

When I went to Thailand, the first place I visited was a zoo. The name of the zoo is “Safari Park.” They had so many wild animals there! We even got to feed giraffes and see them up close, which was an amazing experience. I recommend going there on your first day because it is far from Bangkok, and it takes time to travel. Even though the trip was long, it was definitely worth it.

Next, I visited ICONSIAM. I was really culture-shocked when I saw how big and nice the mall was. I was especially amazed by the basement, which looked like a floating market with a lot of food stalls and shops. When I tried to take the escalator, it felt like the floors would never end because the mall was so tall. We don’t usually have malls like this in the Philippines, so the experience felt very new to me. Also at the very top of the mall, there was a beautiful balcony.

I also want to warn future travelers about transportation, especially when riding a Tuk-tuk. A tuk-tuk is a small vehicle, similar to a tricycle in the Philippines, but with a very different and more unique design. Because of this, it easily attracts tourists who want to try the experience. However, the sad part is that some drivers tend to charge higher prices, especially for tourists. They often give what is called a tourist price. Since I was a tourist, I had to try.

In conclusion, Thailand is a great country with nice people. I enjoy my time exploring their rich culture, temples, and wildlife animals. It’s a good choice to choose Thailand as your first country to go to.
