Tools needed:
- a mixing bowl
- a whisk
- a plastic container
- a measuring cup
Ingredients:
- elmer’s glue
- shaving cream
- baking soda
- food colouring
- saline solution
How to make fluffy slime
- First, you want to start off by measuring 3 heaping cups of shaving foam and pouring it into the mixing bowl. You can experiment by using less or more shaving cream depending on how fluffy you want your slime to be.
- Then, add 5–6 drops of food coloring or paint. You can put more if you want it to be a more pastel color or a more deeper color!
- After that, pour ½ cup of glue into the mixing bowl and whip. You will know it’s been properly mixed if the color has been dispersed.
- When it is done, sprinkle ½ tsp of baking soda and stir. The baking soda helps to form the slime and make sure it’s not too watery.
- After mixing for at least 30 seconds, pour 1 tablespoon of saline solution into the bowl and start whipping. This helps activate the slime and make it more solidified. If the slime is too sticky, try adding a few more drops of saline solution.
- Lastly, once you have thoroughly mixed it properly and it sticks to the whisk, you have officially finished! Take it out with your hands and knead it to properly form it.
