I have recently received a peculiar letter from my colleague Albert Einstein telling me that the public is mad just to pay heed to me is outrageous. Why would he even bother to write a letter like that is simply absurd. I  understand that he may have done this to clear his mind but could he have written this in someplace more private?

I am now close to a large accomplishment.I have been studying the condition needed to create radioactivity and the elements that create it.I have gathered so much knowledge yet I still have more to gain.

Today Iréne is applying to attend classes at Collège Sévigné.I am glad she is preparing for her first day but I wish she wouldn’t get her hopes up. I wish my husband could’ve seen her determination.

I have now decided to name the things I have discovered “polonium” and “radioactivity”. Radioactivity is energy that moves from one place to another in a form that can be described as waves or particles. As for polominium, it’s a new element I have discovered most commonly found in uranium ores. I have also been invited to the Nobel Prize award ceremony; it is very exciting as it is my second time there.
