Polar bears
Where do polar bears live?
In Antarctica, it always snows, so polar bears live on ice. They sometimes swim in the water, but they also live in igloos, so they won’t have to sleep outside in the cold.
Their physical characteristics:
They have thick fur, big paws and they are very fat but if they have this appearance they are able to survive in the snow and able to remove ice to catch fish, and their excellent sense of smell is able to smell predators.
How did they adapt?
They adapted by turning their fur into white to camouflage themselves in the snow from seals and other predators and also adapted by having thick fur and being fat so they will not feel cold.
Facts:

- Females only live for 30 years while males live for 25 years
