Time Travel

Have you ever wondered what you would do if you owned a time travel machine?

If I had a time traveler, I would immediately travel back to the Summer of 2019 without a thought. It was when life for me was at its peak before COVID-19 started .I would bond more with my family, go back to summer at the beach with my cousin, and dedicate more time with my grandparents.

Time travelling back to 2019 would let me relive some important moments in my life .There have been times I regret and would like to undo, or people I’d like to be around with more. For me, I would want to bond more with my family in the Philippines. Lockdown distanced us all and before I went back to England, I would’ve really appreciated it more and made the most of my time.

I would’ve also tried to experience new things instead of sticking to the things I’m used to doing, because I’m most likely not going to be able to do it again. For example, scuba diving with all sorts of animals, I want to get over my fear of the ocean and know nothing will happen. I also want to eat foods like balut, I want to try new things and not judge what something tastes just by how it looks, because it could actually taste very nice. I would also like to try thrilling rides like a zipline, to have something to show off.

Lastly, I would really like to spend more time with my great-grandmother. Because of the lockdown I wasn’t able to attend her funeral because of social distancing and many other enforcement. I’d like to go back and actually be there and experience the moment, not just from afar.
