Dear Parents/Guardians,

The coaching staff would like to inform you that we have new standard pool safety rules as listed below. We expect all swimmers, families, and coaches to follow these rules.

Never swim alone

Students are not allowed to swim alone. They should always swim with a friend or under the supervision of a coach. Even if the students are good swimmers, there is still a chance that they will underestimate their swimming skills and drown easily.

No running

Students should never run around the pool area to avoid slips and falls.

Hydration

Students should drink plenty of water before, during, and after swimming. Drinking water will help reduce leg cramps, dehydration, exhaustion, and dizziness.

Hygiene

Please be sure that the students have good hygiene to prevent spreading illnesses in the pool. Please refrain from peeing or spitting in the pool area.

Stretching and warming up

We expect the students to prepare themselves before swimming by doing a proper warm-up and stretching. Warming up will help with their performance and flexibility.

Thank you for your time in reading this letter regarding our club safety rules.

Yours sincerely,

Coach Mik Padua
