Japan is located in east Asia, and it has a lot of stuff to do, like tasting food, watching festivals and looking at the different seasons! Japan is famous for their cherry blossom trees in the spring time, so I suggest going in the spring. Japan is also famous for their delicious food, in fact the traditional food like sushi, miso soup and raman. Japan also holds a lot of festivals, mostly in Kyoto which is at the centre of Japan.
What Does It Look Like?
Japan changes a lot with the seasons! In spring, the cherry blossoms make everything pink and beautiful. In autumn, the trees turn red and orange, and the ground gets dry. Winter is very cold and snowy, and summer is hot with lots of fun festivals. Japan also has busy streets full of lights and people, but there are quiet mountains and beaches that are amazing to see too!
What Is the Food Like?
Japanese food is really yummy and different from what we eat at home. You should try sushi, ramen and miso soup. Most meals have steamed rice to make it just right. The flavours are sweet, salty, and sour, but not too spicy. Japan also has fun themed cafés, where eating is like an adventure!

Japan is a really fun place! People there like watching and reading anime, which are cartoons and stories, and they also read special books that are only in Japan called manga. There are lots of cool arcades where you can play games, and sometimes there are fun performances to watch too. Shopping is also really popular, and you can find all kinds of awesome things to buy. Japan has so many things to do, it’s never boring!
