Within Quite a Tropical Zone

Within Quite a Tropical Zone (A Deep Within the Tropics inspired poem)

Deep within the tropics

Monkeys bounce and frolic

Birds will fly away

To see another day.

With happiness, they sway

in a unique way.

Trees are waving high and low

To take their time very slow.

Deep within the tropics

birds will make a topic

about a secret lair

to house those they share.

Liveliness they spread is all around

and faces are left without a frown!

With rainfall they play all day

While sunny they sit down to lay.

Deep within the tropics

I use my cool aquatics

As crocodiles snap and roar

I find it as a bore

I find a place to jump

and splash in a muddy dump!

As mud begins to spread

all the way up head!

Deep within the tropics

I think about a topic

That when I sit down in bed

And put down my head

I’ll think of another adventure

Then, in my dreams, I’ll venture

and I’ll pop open a pop tent

and dream to my hearts content!
