Visit Tokyo

Have you ever wanted to go to a vibrant city where you can explore so many places and do fun activities? If you do, you must visit Tokyo. Tokyo is the capital of Japan. It’s a place where you’ll never be bored, and the climates are humid subtropical. You would want to visit Tokyo in autumn (late September to November) and spring (March/April/May) because it’s the best time to go with family and friends! You might be wondering – Why should I go there? Well, I’m here to tell you.

Why should you go?

Firstly, you should go to Tokyo because it has a low crime and danger rate. Making it a comfortable place for residents and visitors who come. All the girls in Tokyo walked around in the dark-creepy night without being scared or uncomfortable.

Secondly, it is a beautiful place with amazing traditional and unique buildings that embody the essence of Japan. The nature there is also magical with pretty plants, mountains and trees.

Lastly, Tokyo is a clean place with barely any rubbish on the ground. They do this to keep the towns clean and discourage littering.

If you are now convinced and you’re wondering “Where should I go now?” I will show you some places people recommend to you.

Gardens

You must visit at least one of Tokyo’s beautiful, fine gardens. Their gardens are most known for their natural beauty. You might be wondering – why are they so famous? Well, I’m here to tell you. Their traditional gardens’ designs are accompanied by Japanese aesthetics and philosophical ideas. One of the most recommended gardens is Shinjuku Gyoen with a beautiful landscape to see and a nice place to have a picnic!

Food market

If you want to see the different types of Japanese traditional foods, you need to go to Tsukiji Outer Market! Tsukiji Outer Market is Japan’s “Food Town,” where you can encounter all kinds of traditional Japanese foods. The markets are a mixture of wholesale and retail shops, along with numerous restaurants. Which is worth visiting!

Theme parks

Tokyo Disneyland

Tokyo Disneyland is the Kingdom of Dreams and Magic. It consists of seven themed lands called:

– World bazaar

– Westernland

– Critter country

– Fantasyland

– Toon town

– Tomorrow land

– Adventureland

With each offering fun attractions in line with its theme, as well as a variety of unique shops and restaurants to explore.

Sanrio Puroland

Sanrio Puroland is a theme park for people who love Hello Kitty, cutesy parades, cheesy performances and colorful buildings. Inside there are meet and greets with cute Sanrio characters, fun rides, colorful shows and musicals. Also, here’s a fun fact about Sanrio Puroland – it opened in December 1990!

Unique places

Snoopy Museum

Snoopy Museum is a museum in Machida, Tokyo, based on Snoopy and his friends from the Peanuts comic strip franchise by Charles M. Schulz. You can go to a meet and greet with Snoopy, go to Snoopy themed shops, see drawings and timelines, see big figures of him and his friends and look at comics pages on the wall! You might be thinking “Oh, this is boring” but Snoopy is one of the most cherished characters in all of Japan!

Maid cafe

Maid cafe is a cosplay-themed restaurant where the staff dress up in maid costumes and treat customers like masters and mistresses in a private home. What happens is maids greet you warmly and serve food and drinks with cute gestures and often perform small “spells” or chants to make the experience more fun and the food taste even better.

Shopping malls

Nakano Broadway

Nakano Broadway is a colourful, unique shopping center. You can buy anime items, comics, boutiques, gifts and eateries (food). There are thirteen levels you can explore and shop for souvenirs to bring back home. But be careful, the shopping centre is a bit crowded.
