My favourite animal is a squid. Squids are one of my favourite animals because they are so fascinating. Another reason why I like squids is because they have many species. I also like the way that squids swim in the water.
I find squids interesting and fun to research. There are lots of facts about them, like how they can change colours. Their scientific name is fascinating too! I wonder where they got the name Teuthida from.
Another reason why I find squids to be my favourite is because there are lots of types of them, or, in other words, there are different species of this sea creature! There are almost 375 species of squids. I like cephalopods and vampire squids.
The last reason why squids are my favourite animal is because of the way they swim. They swim weirdly, which makes me laugh. I wish I could swim like that. I just like going to the aquarium and watching them swim. I normally get left behind when I go on a field trip with my class because I watch them for too long.
My favourite animals are squids because they are so fascinating to learn about and they have many varieties. I love the way they swim in the water, too.
