Fortunately, content writing is a very in-demand job, so it was easy for me to get my first few gigs from Odesk (formerly Upwork) and other freelance job sites.

I had to unlearn everything that I already knew about traditional writing, because web content writing is a whole ‘nother beast on its own.

It’s totally different from journalism, writing novels, writing poems, or anything that I have done before.

What made my situation even worse? Back in the day, I would earn a whopping 1$ per 300 words ! (Ouch!)

Because I was not writing fast enough, it would take me forever just to finish a few articles.

“I could not acquire more clients because of physical and mental exhaustion.”

But I needed to have more clients to earn my target income. This was where I got stuck!

I told myself:
