My First Memory

My First Memory

I will be describing my first memory I had that I still can remember, and when it happened, where it happened, and more!

My first memory was of St. Pio Chapel in Shangrila Mall, Manila. I was with my parents.

The roof was eight feet away from the floor. On the left was the entrance, which also served as the exit to the rest of the mall. On the right, there was a big glass window and other buildings. The entire church had a light brown color, from the ceiling down to the walls and floors. In the front were the priest, statues of people from the Bible, and other things. The pew I was sitting on was near the middle left of them all.

In the church, it seemed like the mass was halfway done. I guess that it was September, because I heard the priest say the word September during the homily. I knew that it was a Sunday because my family and I usually go to church on that day. I think that I was six years old at the time, and the memory was old enough that my sister and brother weren’t born yet. The sky looked like it was near 7:00.

There were lots of people too, with all kinds of shirt colors, and things. Those people had bags, glasses, water bottles, and other things. I guess that there were sixty-seven people there, because it was not really a big church.

So my first memory was in a church, where I slept for half of. I was six years old. I heard it was September, and the church was called St. Pio Chapel in the Shangrila Mall in Manila. I remember coming back to that same church for my brother’s birthday and for other reasons.
