On my tenth birthday, I went to Ocean Park with my family and other relatives, which was delightful. A month ago, I woke up, forgetting it was my birthday until my mom greeted me. I got excited because we planned to go to Ocean Park a week ago, and I hadn’t been there in a long time.
The first thing we did after preparing and washing up was go to our grandma’s house to pick them up because they were going to join us, too. After another long trip, we arrived at Ocean Park. We got out of the car and went to get our tickets, and while we were waiting, we got some Taho. After finishing, a sizable line of people waited to enter when we went inside. The waiting took about 10 minutes, but I didn’t care because I was so excited. We took a few pictures, one with a mascot, and after that, we got inside.
The first place we saw after the last picture was a dark room leading to a place that looked like a jungle/swamp with giant fish tanks. There was a big fish called the Arapaima, and my favorite sea creature was the Axolotl. One of the following few rooms was a dark room where the tanks were glowing blue. Another room had plenty of aquariums filled with different fish. The room had a path, so we could see and walk, watching the fish swim above our heads.
Then we fed a few penguins for about five minutes, although the waiting time felt like forever. Then we paid some money to employees to feed and pet some stingrays, but I was too scared and let my sister do most of the feeding.
After we fed some stingrays and penguins, we got hungry and ate at a restaurant called Hapag. I liked the noodles there, so I mostly only ate that and nothing else. After that, we checked out an exhibit called the ”World of Creepy Crawlies.” Some of the animals there couldn’t crawl like an owl, and hedgehogs weren’t reptiles like most of the animals there.
We went to Jellies Dancing Sea Fairies, which was terrific because the room was dark and the jellyfish glowed in different colors every few seconds. It took a few minutes, but I still remember it clearly and vividly. We also went to a superhero exhibit called Super Toy Collection, which had other amazing things instead of toys. We saw the inside of the Fortress of Solitude, but it was just one part. We saw displays of toys and superhero comics placed on glass shelves.
We went to a sea lion show and saw them perform amazing tricks, like diving into a pool and balancing a ball on their nose. The next performance was Birds. They were flying around, and they did tricks to show and amaze the audience. After the show, we went back to the car to go back to our grandma’s house. We stayed there for a while, then we went back home.
