Day 1:
Dear Diary,
Today, I started working on a new design of my own: writing down the life and achievements of Sir Isaac Newton, a famous scientist! I am going to learn about him because I heard his works in physics and mathematics were outstanding. First off, I am going to start with his early years; I will try to understand what made his talent shape his incredible mind into his success.
Day 2:
Dear Diary,
The novel, ‘Principia Mathematica,’ written by Sir Isaac Newton himself, is phenomenal! I spent my entire time reading the entire page. I’m still trying to turn around some of the discoveries he was able to find. He is able to distinguish the laws of motion and gravitation perfectly.
In addition, Sir Isaac Newton also developed his inventions in math separately from German scientist Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, which was called ‘calculus’, and it’s still an important tool in mathematics and physics today.
Day 3:
Dear Diary,
I’m now currently focusing on Newton’s work in the physics of light. His experiments with prisms and light were amazing. He actually discovered that white light is composed of a variety of colors, which has changed our understanding of light and color together. He has also invented the first reflecting telescope, which was a great success over the bending telescopes of the time in science and astronomy.
Day 4:
Dear Diary,
I finally finished reading, researching, and designing my project about Newton’s life and work. It has been an incredible time doing it. I’m impressed with his ability to match 4 different subjects of study, from mathematics to science to the physics of light and astronomy. His work is the reason why humans have the power to understand the universe from Sir Isaac Newton’s discovery, his inventions, and how it works in the world around us.
I am so grateful that I took this big opportunity to learn about this fantastic man and apply it to my project. He was truly an inspirational person because his works continue to inspire lots of teachers, scientists, and mathematicians all across the world today.
