A Mad Scientist

“I love science class. The results are always so cool!” Mika exclaimed.
“It’s the best!” Jecky agreed.

RING! When the bell rang, Mika and Jecky got stuck below the mountains of students scurrying outside, seeing their dear parents, or running to the bus stop. Mika and Jecky both take the bus, so they always sit together. When the two got home, they begged their parents to play outside one-on-one.

After their parents agreed, they scampered outside to meet each other like mad cheetahs. Jecky bumped into a strange man who looked like Albert Einstein.

The strange man glanced at Jecky, but after seeing Mika, he looked back, thinking Mika was his daughter. The strange man grabbed Mika and Jecky by their clothes and dragged them to his car.

The man introduced himself to the frightened girls. Mika tried screaming her mum’s name, but her mouth was covered in duct tape. Soon, they arrived at the man’s house. The man’s name was Prunie, and he loved science a little too much… The house was filled with tests and potions.

“This is my home, and this is where I test things. I call it a lab, and you will stay here for now,” Prunie said.

Mika shuddered and quietly whispered, “I love the potions but don’t want to stay here.”

Jecky and Mika texted each other on their phones to plan their escape. However, nothing was sneaky enough.

Prunie shouted, “I will work in the lab, and you will stay there!”

Jecky and Mika tiptoed near the window, trying not to make a creak. They quietly climbed out, helping each other. As soon as Mika climbed over, she called the police, and Prunie was arrested.
