I, Miss Kate, have changed the school rules so that by the time it is the end of the year, this will be a safe learning environment. The office people will be fine with you or a family member coming over and telling us if something is odd about the new rules. Please read through as many times as you like.
EQUIPMENT
Your child must be equipped with these things so that they can study, they will need a:
– rubber
– pencil
-writing book
– math book
-ruler
– inquiry book
– coloured pencils
We would be delighted if you could bring the listed items, so that we can have a learning environment with everything needed.
SCHOOL UNIFORM
Your child must wear their school uniform, so that they can represent how great our wonderful school is. They also must attend with a clean outfit, so that they will smell good and feel amazing. It would be such a pleasure if you could prepare a set of winter school uniforms for winter, and summer uniforms for summer, so that your kid doesn’t feel too cold or hot.
EATING AND DRINKING
We have prepared specific dining areas for your child to eat at so that they can eat and drink in clean areas, and once they’re done we encourage them to clean the place they ate at. They also are not allowed to share food, so that people with allergies can stay safe.
LEARNING TIME
While a teacher is teaching, we suggest thatt children do not sit next to their friends so that they can learn more. If a teacher catches someone talking in class, they will tell them, “Please stop” , and give that child a reminder because of the behavior shown. Students should complete their tasks in the time given, that is expected or else the student will be given extra time, while other peers proceed with the next task.
GOING TO PLACES DURING LEARNING TIME
If a student asks to go somewhere ( the toilet, office and more ) they have to respectfully walk, voices off, so that they don’t disturb other peers, they also have to take a partner with them and the teacher must know who’s going and where they’re going. They both have to go to the right place, so that if they get hurt someone can go get a teacher instead of hiding it, because they know they will get in trouble.
PLAYTIME
During playtime we recommend kids ( including your child ) to be kind to one another, so that people can feel welcomed and happy. Teachers are suggested to look at the whole area they have yard duty at, so that you feel comfortable with your kid at school.
OFFICE
If your child happens to be at the office we recommend that they be quiet because there are lots of important meetings in that area, but they can whisper if they want to. When the parent ( you ) comes to pick your child up we suggest that you don’t bring your child back to school if he/she is sick, but if not, it’s ok for him/her to come back the next day.
CLASSROOM
Teachers in the classroom are suggesting that a clean learning environment will be amazing, so once your child is done with a messy activity then we expect them to clean up after themselves. Students are recommended to take care of their classroom, so that they can have an airy and clean learning environment.
